Atharvaraj Multistate Agro Purpose Co-operative Society Limited is registered under the Multi State Cooperative Society Act, 2002 vide registration MSCS/CR/1016/2014. The Society does not operate in any form of banking business with General Public.
As per the proviso of section 10 of MSCS Act, 2002 all registered society can operate its business for the members, by the members and with the members only. Atharvaraj Multistate Agro Purpose Co-operative Society operates its business with-in the ambit of said Act.
As per the proviso of section 5 (C ) (b) of Banking Regulation Act, 1949, the definition of banking includes accepting of deposits and providing finance facility to General Public, which Atharvaraj Multistate Agro Purpose Co-operative Society Limited does not follow.
